Properties
The oriented
polypropylene film is characterized by good weldability, high
transparency, gloss and favourable mechanical properties, and low steam
and aroma permeability. Apart from this, it possesses slipping and
antiblocking properties facilitating the operation of packaging
machines. By standard, it is offered as one side activated film (with
the activation at the outer side of the roll). The use of outer
weldable layers enables its welding below the polypropylene melting
point. The selection of welding temperatures depends on the
characteristics of welding electrodes and welding rate.
Application
The oriented two-side weldable polypropylene film is intended to be used as packaging material, with possible surprint and lamination.
